About Me
I am focused on pursuing a Cyber Security Analyst position, I've developed practical experience through the labs on letsdefend and tryhackme, where I utilized SIEM tools to investigate alerts using log management and perform endpoint detection and response. These labs gave me experience in analyzing cases, identifying malicious activities, and implementing security measures to mitigate risks. I competed in the Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition for 2 years as a firewall administrator on Palo Alto firewalls, achieving 3rd place in the state in 2023 and 1st place in 2024, we moved on to the regionals in Chicago to compete against all the first place teams from each state. As a firewall administrator, I gained practical experience in implementing port/application-based security policies to protect against potential threats. Competing at a high level required effective collaboration with my team, quick and strategic thinking to address real-time security threats, and efficient use of time to ensure tasks were completed.
